Wall Street flat with eyes on China, Fed

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks were flat on Monday as economic data in China and this week's Federal Open Market Committee announcement gave investors reason to pause after a three-day rally.

The Dow Jones industrial average edged up 7.04 points, or 0.05 percent, to 12,929.06. The S&P 500 Index dipped 1.05 points, or 0.08 percent, to 1,369.82. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 1.24 points, or 0.04 percent, to 2,987.10.
